Well, it has been a while since I popped in so I thought I'd drop by for a quick update.

My studies are going well, unit one completed and passed! Always such a nice feeling. I have also started an Educator Support Group and feel like that is a real blessing to new Educators, again, I nice feeling to be involved in something so helpful!

As a family we have been struggling a little with sickness, I think it's the weather changing - hot, hot days and cool nights.

Spiritually I am finding myself a little dry and needing to make sure that God remains in number one place - sounds easy but we all know how hard it can be at times.

Celebrating a New Year

I haven't been blogging much of late, as you would have figured out for yourself!
Lack of blogging has been an intentional decision as I have grappled with what God would have me do this year.

After much thought and prayer, I have decided to take a break from writing here as well as promoting my books and resources.  I may pop in from time to time but I need to spend 2012 focussing on my family and work. I also feel the need to spend time improving my OWN relationship with God as I have been feeling a bit 'dry' lately.

Look Around

I've just started a course that I need to complete to be able to continue my job. It's a little overwhelming to be honest.

I read over my notes and tried to work out how I could put a few things into practice within my service. Today as I began to really look, I had a few ideas and began to understand what my lecturer was expecting from me.

Sometimes, we need to stop and take a good look around us to be reminded of how awesome God is. Daily, we should stop to take a closer look at God's Word to see how we need to live and how much God loves us - and all the other wonderful truth's the Bible holds.

When we look, God promises that we will find.

I know this is a very simple analogy, but simple is good for me!
